What?!

Everytime we put the kids to bed one of them will keep getting out a few times and come to the stairs waiting for us to go to bed. We usually watch a movie though. Well last night after our movies we go to head up the stairs and find this. . . . . . . . . . ..

he was totally out!!! And I don't know how he got there :)

Bring on Summer

Today was the last day of kindergarten fro Briella. So sad! I have a friend that gives her kids awards like they give at school. I thought that was a great idea and a great way to make them feel special and keep up their self esteem especially doing it as a family! So for dinner i made one of our favorites, tacos! We drank fruit punch with flower straws to bring on summer!! Then daddy gave out certificates for things they accomplished this school year! And we cheered and clapped and they thought it was so NEAT! It made me happy!

I told Halee to say cheese! She gets it now LOL!!!

Briella has learned to read HUGE words! She reads the scriptures! She can add big numbers too! She has also gotten really good at sharing with her sibs.

Easton learned to write his name, count and is so sincerly kind and caring.

Sleeping Angels

I love kissing my kids goodnight when they are all sleeping. They look like angels. The other night i had to get out the camera and take pics of them sleeping because they won't be tiny forever!! I love my babies and am so grateful to be their mom. I am blessed!

So this year I tried really hard to be consistent with Easton doing preschool and it didn't work out so well not on his part but by mine!! He always wanted to do it and i would get busy. But he did learn quite a few names and one was writing his name! I am so proud!! Go Easty!

A run in with the tire swing!

Briella came home from school with a huge red mark on her nose, the pics hardly do it justice! ( and these were taken the nest day too) Apparently she was pushing the tire swing with no one in it and it came back and hit her in the nose! She was crying and two girls took her to the duty to get ice :) But she's fine and didn't even tell me about it until i asked what the heck was on her nose!

On Sunday Briella lost another tooth! This time Grandma pulled it out! She came to me with it already hanging and bleeding and asked me to take it out. Well before I even got my fingers near she started freaking out like I asked her if I could pull it! Well my mom got a hold of it and barely even touched it and it was gone!! She is so silly sometimes! This is her fifth missing tooth!

The Priesthood

Sunday May 22 was a special day for George and Angel. George ordained Angel as a Priest in the Melchezidek Priesthood. He gave him a wonderful blessing that was quite long because he didn't want to leave anything out! :) I am very proud of them both. I am so grateful to George and his amazing example to our family especially our kids. Also to his example to his family. Lately Easton has been wanting blessings "just because" and its sweet to see George take that responsibility and use it with our children and that my young son is learning what is means and stands for. After all lately all Easton talks about is his mission and he's only 3! :)

Can't wait for the beautiful baby boy coming and for the family sealing!!! Families are FOREVER.

Briella's Kindergarten Graduation

I can't believe Briella is done with Kindergarten!!! What the Heck?! Time goes WAY too fast!!! It needs to slow down! I love my great big 6 year old! She is soooo smart and has learned SO MUCH! She has become an excellent reader, she reads the scriptures at night! She just gets smarter everyday and I am SO PROUD of her and the little girl she is becoming. I love you Briella! Congrats B!!!! :)

Briella's Gymnastics Show

Wow I am so proud of Briella! This is her first year of gymnastics! She is great! She has gained a lot of muscle and body strength and thinned out quite a bit! I am mostly proud that she got out there in front of everyone and did her tricks! She has a hard time getting out in front of people! She did Awesome!!! I can't wait for her to continue!!! Yay Briella! Were so proud!!

5-12-13
Halee- " Mom there is this girl in my class and she has red curly hair and orange polka dots all over her face!"

9-6-12
Halee is 2 and hilarious!! I need to be better about writing her comments!!

Last night it was her turn for prayer and I was helping her and I told her to say "thank you that we could go to Disney land" and she stops and looks at me and goes " I want to go again!" It was so funny we all laughed! Because she was repeating after me until that part she totally stopped her prayer!

We've only been back two weeks now and the week we got back she kept asking to go again. I promised we would but not now. So she always asks and says "Mom I want to go to Disneyland! You promised promised!!" or she'll tell me "mom I want to go on bacation!!"

Lately Halee will say something cute and when we laugh she'll say "what?!" She also will say something and say "seriously?"

When shes mad at some one or teasing her dad she will call them "poopy!" or "pelly!" (smelly)

She always tells me "Mom your my best friend ever ever!" especially when I get upset with her!! She also says " but mommy I love you!"

When its time for bed and she doesn't want to be there she'll stand at her door and call for me " Mommy I need to tell you something!" but she never has anything to tell! Its always " I dont want to go to bed!"
9-23-11

We were visiting with some family friends. Easton was crushing on Lauren who is 18 :) I asked if she was his girlfriend he says yes. I told him you can't have her for your girl friend, she's a cougar! He tells me "no mom! we are both people!"

Easton was telling me I need to have another baby, he wants 3 sisters! I asked him wouldn't you want a brother?! He says "nope, Tracen is my brother!" (Tracen is Timbers little boy who he has claimed for his brother!

Everytime we go to the store Briella asks for EVERYTHING!! I always tell her no we can't afford that right now. I read in the Ensign to teach your kids to live within your means. I am trying to teach her to save her own money when she wants a $30 doll and that she doesn't always get what she wants when she wants it. well I guess maybe I say that a little too much and her young mind doesn't get it because I have been asking her to try hot lunch at school (I hate getting up extra early to make her home lunch) and she said " no we can't afford it! we'll have to stand on the corner and a hold a help us sign!" what a crack up!!! So we had to explain to her what living on a budget means and all that! I guess I better be more careful of the way I explain things to this little smarty pants!!

Were having dinner at my parents on sunday and Easton tells my dad, " Grandpa, your OLD!" we all laugh he thinks he's real cute well the next day i am walgreens picking up Halees medicine and the kids are on my nerves, they are running a muck and I tell them stay by me, you guys are on my last nerve! Well an elderly lady hears me and laughs and says wait till your older. Well Easton says "what did that old grandma say to you?" so I tell him she was just saying hi "wells shes an old grandma" she is still in hearing distance and I say yep she's a grandma, " no mom she's an OLD grandma!" oh my heck!! then he saw I was trying to keep him quite so he gets his goofy grin and says it a few more times, so I try to ignore him. Morale of the story, i guess we better be careful at what we laugh at!!

Easton just had a birthday but has been asking for a ton of toys lately. So we tell him lets wait for Christmas. Well he has been asking me when are we gonna have Christmas and I knew why! So I told him well we just got summer we don't want the snow back yet! He says "I like snow" so I said Easton Christmas isn't about presents and he knew what was coming next so he beat me to it by replying "well Jesus gives Santa the presents to give us!" what a stinker!!!

Okay today Briella was the funny one :) So first I made dinner. I hate when she complains and tells me she's not eating what I made. So I said I don't want to hear it! Your eating what I made. She "sweetly" tells me, "when I am a mom and I make dinner I am gonna make my kids taste it. and if they don't like it I will make them something else, like microwave food or something" what a clown!!!
Then after dinner I was making her help me staiten up the house because they had been playing all day! I told her that even Grandma Marcie (her most favorite person!) made me do chores when I was little. Well she got mad at me and said "that's not how its gonna be at my house!!! My husband is gonna do the chores while me and my kids sit on oour bums and watch tv!!!" LOL watch out boys!!!! ;)

Some new funny stuff from Easton! So we were talking about seaworld and showed him pics of him feeding the Dolphins when he was 10 months old. He didn't like them and said that he didn't want to feed "the whales" I told him they were Dolphins and super nice! I told him that Aunt Tawsha wanted to swim with them because they are so nice! So he asked if Justin and Burklee were going to also? I said yep! He decided that he and Burklee would ride the Dolphins! But was Tawsha going to wear a swimsuit? Yep. Well he need to wear his swimsuit too, "so the dolphins don't get my stuff!" I was like what stuff? "my private stuff mom!" LOL he is such a boy! Why on earth would he think of that!!!

We have been reading the kids book of mormon and talking about Lehi and his family. Well at sacrament the other day Easton goes to Uncle Mikey, "Laman and Lemuel were bad and they tied Nephi up with ropes. And their skin turned brown, like yours mikey!" Oh my heck! Mike is not a member so we kinda had to explain what he was talking about!!

Easton has been talking about getting big and still living with mommy until he leaves on his mission. I told him Jesus would watch over him while he was on a mission he said, "Jesus is gonna open up the clouds and say look at that cute mission!" He makes me smile every day!

I am teaching Easton school this year for preschool. So he asks me, mom are you my teacher? yes or no? I said yes East I'm your teacher. He tells me but mom you don't have black eyes like a teacher!! :) lol he makes me laugh!

8-16-10
Easton said this about two weeks ago, but I was doing my hair up in a bun and he walked in the bathroom and said, " I like your hair mommy! Santa is gonna say woot woot I like your hair!: :) lol he is so funny!

We were out eating snow cones and easton goes, "look mom, a hopping grass!" (grass hopper!)

We were out showing the kids the Idaho Falls Temple and how angel Moroni is on the top and Easton said "thats my Angel's Temple?!" thinking we meant uncle angel!

We were just talking about this the other night and laughing cuz it was last year and I wish I would have wrote it down it was when Briella was four she had a sleepover at my moms and was telling her about how I make her mad! and when I make her mad she whispers "your such a jerk!" so I can't hear her!! What a stinker!! :) too funny though that she knows how to grumble under her breath!!

Yesterday for his birthday Easton got a Woody doll like the one on the movie. So he takes it over to his aunt and goes "howdy little lady!" while he tips his cowboy hat!! so cute!

When East gets mad at people lately he will say " i'm mad at buddies!" meaning (everybody)

So Easton's new fav is Toy Story , he loves Buzz and Woody. So we are having dinner and he comes to the table " I am Buzz Lightyear, I come in peace!"

Briella woke me up yesterday morning " Mommy, my tummy is hungry!"

So I am dropping Briella off at school this morning and I always tell her to be nice to everyone and have a good day you know the usual :) Well Easton has heard me a lot lately telling her to be nice and that she needs to be everyones friend, things like that. So this morning as shes getting out he says "Bella don't kick the kids!" "Be nice" Well of course that made her mad and she yelled "Don't tell me what to do dumb brother!" I am trying the whole time not to laugh and I made her tell him she loves him before she slammed the door! My kids are so funny! I don't know why he thought of that because she has never been in trouble for kicking anybody at school or any place, well besides kicking Easton!

1-19-10
Easton loves his chipmunk toys! He calls them "his boys" he hugs them and says "i so love you boys!" he tries to say I love you so much cuz thats what i always say to him!

So Briella was asking me how a baby got in the mommy's tummy :) I told her they grow from an egg in the mommys tummy. That satisfied her enough for now thank goodness! She had one of Easton's toy balls in her shirt and ran off "hey Easton want to feel my egg?"!!!

Yesterday Briella was asking me all sorts of questions about the baby. I plan to nurse and she was asking if she could ever feed her and I told her that I would get some milk in a bottle for her to have a turn. Anyway we went on to talk about how much the baby eats and even during the night. So she thought a minute and said" ok mom here's the deal, I will sleep in bed between you and Dad and when the baby wakes up I will go get her bottle and feed her!" wouldn't that be great!

I decided I had to post some of the cute new things Easton has been learning to say. He is only 2 1/2 and he is becoming quite the talker!

We were late for church and I couldn't find Briella's shoes I was like "stupid shoes!" and Easton tells George " mommy said stupid! no say stupid!" I didn't even know he knew that!

Same day we were over at the Chapa's and Angel kept teasing Easton like he was painting on his face. Easton turns to him and says "hey not nice!"

Whenever I get upset with Easton I will say EASTON GEORGE! The other day that happened he turned around and said "no mommy I not Easton George, I Easton! Daddy, George!"

So I think he understands now or maybe he doesn't because he was upset with Briella two days ago and he tells Bella "Briella George!!"
